The Anthony Nolan Trust
The Anthony Nolan Trust takes back lives from leukaemia by providing lifesaving donors for patients in need of a bone marrow transplant. Since 1974 we have helped to give over 5,800 children and adults a new chance of life.
A transplant of bone marrow (or stem cells from the peripheral blood circulating the donor's body) can be used to offer hope to patients with leukaemia or other similar potentially fatal illnesses. We work to offer patients in the UK and around the world a better chance of a successful bone marrow transplant. A gift of life.
The Born Free Foundation
The Born Free Foundation is a dynamic international wildlife charity, devoted to compassionate conservation and animal welfare. Born Free takes action worldwide to protect threatened species and stop individual animal suffering. Born Free believes wildlife belongs in the wild and works to phase out zoos. We rescue animals from lives of misery in tiny cages and give them lifetime care.
Born Free protects lions, elephants, tigers, gorillas, wolves, polar bears, dolphins, marine turtles and much more in their natural habitat, working with local communities to help people and wildlife live together without conflict. Our high-profile campaigns change public attitudes, persuade decision-makers and get results. Every year, Born Free helps hundreds of thousands of animals worldwide.
CHASE/Ben Hollioake Fund
England and Surrey cricketer, Ben Hollioake, was the youngest England debutant since 1949 and was voted Young Cricketer of the Year. In 2002, he was killed in a road accident aged just 24. Brother Adam, the ex-England and Surrey Captain and the Hollioake Family are creating an everlasting memory in Ben’s name. The goal in association with CHASE hospice care for children is to raise as much money as possible over five years for CHASE Hospice Care for Children. All funds raised help to support life-limited children and their families. These are children who are not expected to live past the age of 19. We currently support 254 families out of the 700+ in need in our area.
At CHASE we believe a child's time may be limited but their lives needn't be.
